BIOGRAPHY:

MALICE420 was established in April of 2001 when Chad, Brad and Nick met toward the end of their Marine Corp in San Diego, Ca. In October, Rob Pane replaced their initial guitarist bringing eight years of guitar playing too the band. Rob's expanded guitar influences allowed the band to develop the chemistry allowing the band to follow its direction in metal music.

Within two months, the band was playing clubs all over San Diego County. However the first gig was in La. The Band expanded their show through out Southern California. In January 2002 MALICE420 recorded its first demo. The four-song introduction was recorded in  Escondido, Ca. Somewhere around our 45th gig we realized we sold nearly four hundred demos. Our shows were drawing seventy-five, one forty, too nearly three hundred people. San Diego clubs had us playing sometimes three days a week. We developed relationships with many of the SD underground metal bands. The bands efforts led MALICE420 to Los Angeles to receive The Rock City Music Award for best San Diego Metal Band.

Occasional LA Clubs would come on-line and we would truck up there to play. Reluctantly, we managed to play most of the Sunset Strip clubs and others around its neighborhood. On April 11, 2003 a dvd produced at The Whisky A-Go-Go was the last LA show. We did several local shows in SD at a few of our favorite locations which turned out to be going away shows.

MALICE420 completed its first CD "Hateful Preaching's" for a mindless people in time for release in London, November 2002.

London's www.totalrock.com radio introduced MALICE420 to the 2003 new year, while introducing them to their own FM radio community.

Malice420's web site took a major hit with over two million fans during the nine week European publicity run. MALICE420 and Winters Farm Studio of Surry, England began working together with www.focal-point.co.uk by offering their music for an upcoming Metallica DVD titled "Dark Souls". Just released in Europe, the DVD contains MALICE420's Lead song "Malice" as the main segment bumper for the DVD, and "Lay Down and Die" as a segment background track.

MALICE420 has background music outside the USA. With music running in two television commercials.

MALICE420 attracted Valhalla Treasures as a sponsor. This national distributor of fine body jewelry is now on display with every live show. The MALICE420 product line includes T-shirts, (long, short, sleeveless), beanies, posters, stickers, dvds and more.



Airplay continues throughout the USA, and includes Serbia, Russia, Ireland, Germany, and many other countries.
